An Excellent Starting Point for Newcomers

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is an action-adventure platform game that involves traveling between dimensions. You play as Ratchet and his robot companion Clank as they battle an evil emperor from another reality. While it is the latest installment in a long-running franchise, Rift Apart is also a great entry point for newcomers due to its standalone storyline and the introduction of new characters Rivet & Kit.

A Wild Arsenal of Weapons

Ratchet & Clank games are known for their diverse range of weapons, and Rift Apart is no exception. In this multi-dimensional adventure, you can unlock twenty different weapons, including the explosive Shatterbomb, the energy beam-firing Negatron Collider, and the Ricochet, which allows you to bounce projectiles off enemies. Using weapons in combat will level them up, increasing their damage and unlocking more upgrade options at weapon vendors. When fully leveled up, weapons even change form and become more powerful. On PC, you have the option to use mouse and keyboard controls or a controller to handle this explosive arsenal. You can customize the controls to your preference. If you use a PlayStation DualSense controller with a wired connection, you will experience immersive haptic feedback and dynamic trigger effects.

PC Features

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart on PC comes with the latest technologies, including DirectStorage 1.2 with GPU decompression and performance-enhancing upscaling technologies. PC enthusiasts with high-end systems can take advantage of features like ultra-wide monitor support, ray-traced shadows, and ray-traced ambient occlusion.
