Lian Li Unveils Next-Generation Power Supplies at Computex 2026
At Computex 2026, Lian Li showcased a comprehensive lineup of upcoming power supply units (PSUs), introducing the Edge Platinum V2, Edge Gold V2, and SX Gold series. These new releases highlight Lian Li’s commitment to innovation, efficiency, and user-friendly features for PC enthusiasts and professionals alike.
Edge Platinum V2 Series: High-Efficiency and Advanced Features
The Edge Platinum V2 series is designed for demanding systems, offering models with 1000W, 1200W, and 1350W capacities. Each unit is 80 Plus Platinum certified, ensuring high energy efficiency and reliable performance. A standout addition is the new Edge Hub V2, which enhances connectivity and system management.
Lian Li has also introduced a redesigned magnetic dust filter for easier maintenance, along with a dust-cleaning reminder system. After 360 hours of PSU fan operation, a red LED alert notifies users when cleaning is needed, helping to maintain optimal airflow and longevity. The Edge Platinum V2 series will be available in both black and white finishes, with a planned release date of September 11.
Edge Gold V2 Series: Versatile Power with Enhanced Connectivity
The Edge Gold V2 lineup includes 850W and 1000W models, both carrying the 80 Plus Gold certification for efficient power delivery. The 1000W variant features the new Edge Hub V2, providing expanded connectivity options for modern PC builds. Both models come equipped with embossed cables for improved durability, simplified cable routing, and support for transfer-speed monitoring via L-Connect 3 software.
The Edge Gold V2 series is expected to launch in mid-Q3 2026, with the 850W model priced at $99.99 and the 1000W version at $129.99.
SX Gold Series: Compact Design and Premium Components
Lian Li’s SX Gold series targets users seeking a compact yet powerful PSU solution. Available in 850W and 1000W capacities, these units are 80 Plus Gold certified and measure 150 × 140 × 86 mm, making them suitable for space-constrained builds. The SX Gold series utilizes high-quality Japanese capacitors and a 135mm fan for reliable cooling.
Additional features include shortened cables for easier management, dual side-exit 6-pin interfaces, and integrated hook-and-loop cable management straps. The SX Gold series is scheduled for release in Q4 2026, with pricing set at $89.99 for the 850W model and $119.99 for the 1000W variant.
Digital Work Station 1600 Platinum: Power for Professional Applications
For users with extreme power requirements, Lian Li introduced the Digital Work Station 1600 Platinum (DWS1600P). This premium PSU delivers 1600W of power with 80 Plus Platinum certification and features two native 12V-2x6 600W connectors, making it ideal for multi-GPU workstations. The DWS1600P supports power excursions up to 235%, ensuring stability during peak loads. It is expected to be available in Q2 2026 at a price of $320.
Edge Hub V2: Advanced Connectivity and Monitoring
The upcoming Edge Hub V2 is engineered to streamline system connectivity. It connects via a motherboard USB 3.0 header and utilizes a dual-controller design to minimize bandwidth bottlenecks for LCDs, fans, and other USB devices. The hub integrates a six-port PWM fan hub and a four-port USB 2.0 hub into a removable magnetic module that mounts along the PSU’s inner edge.
With L-Connect 3 software, users gain access to real-time per-port bandwidth monitoring and overload alerts, enhancing system management and reliability. Lian Li anticipates the Edge Hub V2 will be available around September 10.
